I received my Bachelor's degree (Psychology), and Master's degree (Masters of Social Work), from the University of California, Berkeley. I have been working in a private practice setting for the past 5 years in order to hone my skills and achieve the required 3,200 hours towards licensure. I was fortunate to also collaborate at a community mental health center for the last 2 years in which I worked with marginalized populations that experienced not only mental health severities, but socio-economic hardships. I have worked at UCSF at the AIDS Health Project in one-on-one therapy with triply diagnosed patients who struggled with Mental illness, Substance abuse and HIV/AIDS. Additionally, I have worked at Marin General Hospital in the Emergency Room, In-patient, and Outpatient wards. I have had experience collaborating with LGTBQ populations, multicultural clients, and clients experiencing symptoms of Bi-polar, Depression, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, OCD, Sexual Disorders, End of life issues, Loss of loved ones, Trauma, Eating Disorders and Relationship issues. I specialize working with adults, adolescents and couples.
